6:5. ‘ಈಜಿಪ್ಪಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಹೊರ ತಂದಂದಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಆಲಯಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಇಸ್ರೇಲರ ಕುಲಗಳ ಯಾವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಸ್ರೇಲರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

6:5. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ--ನನ್ನ ಜನ ರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುವವನಾಗಿರಲು ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬನ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

6:5. He told David, 'Since the day I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I have not chosen a city from all the tribes of Israel to build a temple in which to live. Nor did I choose a man as leader of my people Israel.
